Dear Aspirants,

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) has issued Notification for Recruitment of 2700 Junior Engineer/ Telecom Technical Assistant. The Online Exam will be conducted on September 25th and will be divided in 3 Sections i.e. General Ability, Basic Engineering and Specialization having a total number of 200 questions to be solved in 3 hours.

BSNL JE 2016 Examination Pattern:

As per BSNL notification, BSNL JE exam is divided in 3 sections with a total number of 200 questions comprising of 200 marks to be solved in 3 hours. BSNL JE exam is an objective type paper with Multiple choice questions. There will be a Negative marking of 25% for every incorrect answer.

BSNL JE 2016 Exam Pattern:

BSNL JE 2016 Syllabus:

1. General Ability:

This section comprises of 20 questions of 1 mark each. Some of the important topics for General Ability are:

• Arithmatic Ability
• General English
• Verbal Reasoning
• Non Verbal Reasoning

2. Basic Engineering:

This section comprises of 90 questions of 1 mark each. Some of the important topics for Basic Engineering are given below:

• Applied Physics
• Applied Mathematics
• Electronics Circuits and Devices
• Digital Techniques
• Basic Electricity

3. Specialization:

This Section comprises of 90 questions of 1 mark each. Important topics to prepare for this section are:

• Communication 
• Electrical
• Control Systems
• Microprocessors
• Network Filters and Transmission Lines
• Instruments and Measurements
• Computer
